MY GOD REIGNS

Romans 10:6-11 �But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word� (the gospel of Jesus Christ) �is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;� (It is already in our hearts from the time we put our faith and belief in Him) �That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth� (overtly displaying ) �confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be�(or made) �ashamed.�
Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! This was quoted from Isaiah. We used to sing a song with that scripture in it. I believe the name of the song is, �My God Reigns!�
Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
Nahum also speaks those same words:
Nahum 1:15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Ben Hogan said, �As you walk down the fairway of live you must smell the roses, for you only get to play one round.� I might add, �The decisions you make while you play that one round determines your station in the eternal-life and the reward you will receive.�
