PRINCE of PEACE!

(Isaiah 9:6 KJV) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
I have heard people say and pray for Peace. I have always felt that until Jesus puts His foot down on mount Zion again that the world will not know real peace.
The use of the word �Peace� has many different meanings. All meanings refer to: the state of not being at war; silence, quietness; tranquility etal. The one meaning that excites me most is when we talk of the Prince of Peace! He is our Mighty God and Savior, our redeemer! With our Him life world not be worth living.
Taking another look of praying for Peace and especially for the Peace of Israel, are we praying for the return of Christ?
Ephesians 2:14-18 (KJV) For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Luke 2:13-14 (KJV) And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth Peace, good will toward men.
Jesus is in our hearts� let Him rule our hearts!
Colossians 3:15 KJV) And let the Peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Yes peace is not being at each other�s throats or wanting to kill each other off. But! It is much more than that. It is where there is tranquility between all persons. And the agape type of love for everyone! That peace would mean total death to the old nature, and a new birth in the spirit!
Of all the things I can think of that annoy me today, they would not if I were at complete peace. I still believe that we will not contain that until we met the Lord in the air. But there is no reason not to try to die to self enough that this starts to happen within. The work started will be completed then� at the end� or really the beginning!

Micah 7:18-19 (NIV) Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.
