The tenses of �Salvation

Being saved is an ongoing process. We were saved when Jesus shed His Blood, we are being saved as we repent and come to Him for forgiveness of our infractions (nice soft word for SIN), and we will be saved as we overcome and terry through until the end of our time in our current vessel!
Vessel of the redeemed: Temple of the Holy Spirit!
Past Tense:
Separation from the Penalty of Sin
Justification
Acts 13:38-39 (KJV) Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Present Tense:
Separation from the Power of Sin
Sanctification
Romans 5:20-21 (KJV) Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:1-3 (KJV) What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Future Tense:
Separation from the Presence of Sin
Glorification
Romans 8:30 (NRSV) And those whom he predestined he also called; and those whom he called he also justified; and those whom he justified he also glorified.
Hebrews 5:5 (NRSV) So also Christ did not glorify himself in becoming a high priest, but was appointed by the one who said to him, "You are my Son, today I have begotten you";
(2 Tim 4:7 KJV) I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

Ulterior thought:
It is wise to be suspicious of the person who is smiling after their world has come crashing down around them� either they really understand faith and the grace of God, or they are going to blame it all on you!
