PEACEMAKERS:

This is beatitude number 7.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God [Matt. 5:9].
You hear people say, �we want peace!� If we believe in the written Word of God, we know that peace will not happen until the Great Peacemaker has returned and placed the enemy in the bottomless pit.
Can you name one peacemaker in the world right now? There is no one today who can make peace. Christ alone is the great Peacemaker. He made peace by His blood between a righteous God and an unrighteous sinner. �Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ� (Rom. 5:1).
Peacemakers: those who work for peace
Christ the great:
(2 Cor 5:18 KJV) "And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;" 19 "To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation." 20 "Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God." 21 "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."
Christians become:
(Mat 5:9 KJV) "Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God."
(Rom 14:19 KJV) "Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another."

(1 Pet 3:8 KJV) "Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful (tender hearted), be courteous:" 9 "Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing." 10 "For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:" 11 "Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it." 12 "For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil." 13 "And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?"
