1 Thessalonians 5: 15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. 16 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19 Quench not the Spirit. 20 Despise not prophesyings. 21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
Sometimes we meander along not realizing how some of the things we do look when we are doing them. The things we see done are much different than how the doer sees them. That makes it easy for a lawyer or accuser to charge fowl play when it isn�t even the case. Words can be twisted to make the other persons point and the talker who is most believable is the winner of the case.
Some people think this is a good thing� lots of money in that industry. However, that is just how the enemy works. He takes a little truth and puts a spin on it and then the deceit begins.
1 Peter 5:8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
