PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP!

In Romans 14:22, Paul tells us that our relationship, our faith, should be a personal relationship� Just between God and us. He also states that we should not condemn ourselves for our slipups because of our sinful nature. God does not get mad at us because we mess up. He is always ready to forgive us when we repent to him. Since we know that the Lord sees everything that we do and he knows our hearts, our thoughts etc. It is stupid for us to be in denial of any of our weaknesses. The sooner we confess our sin the sooner he forgives our sins. As a matter of fact they are already forgiven when we confess.
Romans 14:22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
Abraham was a man of faith� a true believer. David was a man of faith� a true believer. Neither of them were men of works. They were both justified through their belief in their faith in God.
Romans 4:1 What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? 2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. 3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. 6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, 7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. 8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
The word impute means count against. In other words the debt of all confessed sins are totally justified. That is just as if they had never happened!
