JOTS FROM OLD JAKE BOTH WAYS? BOTH WAYS Not so You have heard the expression, Have your cake and eat it too! Maybe the one that says, You cant have it both ways! These seem to contradict one another and they do. I think if you were liberal minded you might want to make the first one your motto. However, after living your life in that manner you will eventually come to the conclusion that you were wrong and find out that the latter is true. Unfortunately that may be on judgement day for many people! In other words TOO LATE! No YOU cant have it both ways! I used the word liberal in the sense it is used today as a noun. One who favors political and social reform, one who supports a progressive political philosophy; member of a liberal political party. The adjective form of the word means: in favor of reform, supporting a progressive philosophy (political, religious, social, etc.); tolerant, open-minded; generous; abundant It is quite obvious that the Liberals are anything but liberal in the adjective form. They are totally intolerant to the things of the Word of God. Sure some of them quote Scripture, but they use it out of context to benefit their own advantage. They will try to tell you that you must do certain things to enjoy the likelihood of receiving Gods Grace. Just a little bit of homework reading the Holy Word of God would dispel all thoughts along that line. There is no way that the Bible tells us that there is any other way to eternal life with God our Father and Jesus the Son of God without the Grace of God and Jesus shedding His Blood on the Cross. The main point of His being crucified is for the redemption of our sins! The sign of that being accomplished was His resurrection on the third day! There is nothing any person can do or anything he can pay to receive redemption for the sinful nature of mankind. That is why it was necessary for His Blood to be shed for our redemption.
Blessing to yall References: Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
