Cherry Pie!

Friday, Dec. 08, 2006 - 4:16 p.m.

Fruit Pie (I prefer Dark Cherries)

2 CUPS OF WATER
1 12 oz bag of frozen fruit of choice app 180 calories
1 Table spoon corn starch 30 calories
4 boxes of Jell-O sugar free (16) servings 160 calories
1 Cups of Splenda
1-1/2 Table spoons of Graham Cracker crumbs 35 calories
I cant believe its butter spray or
Butter flavor spray Pam ____________ 405 calories or
6 slices of 67.5 calories

Heat the water to a boil in a big sauce pan. While it is heating beat in the corn starch until it is totally dissolved.
Add the Splenda
Bring to boil stirring to avoid gumming on the bottom and sides of the pan. Also!
Do not allow to boil over! You may need to turn the burner down to medium
And allow mixture to boil lower the heat to medium.
Add the four packs of Jell-O sugar free and stir until it is totally dissolved.
Continue to boil for another minute or two.
Add the bag of frozen fruit and bring back to boil.
Boil for about five to seven minutes to allow time for it to thicken.

Using a standard pie pan spray the not butter spray or Pam to cover every surface inside the pan.
Put the cracker crumbs in the pan and shake the pan and roll the pan on edge to allow the crumbs to cover every bit of sprayed surface. Make sure all surfaces inside the pan are covered with crumbs. Throw away excess crumbs.
Pour the fruit mixture into the prepared pan and allow to set for approximately an hour then move into the refrigerator for approximately 4 hours before serving.
To serve use a knife to break the edges from the pan all the way around then cut the size slices you desire.
It is really tasty if you put about one tablespoon of light whip cream on top. Be sure to add the extra calories of the whipped topping.
